Strictly Vetted Dealers

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. FAQs

Tabriz has been a major centre for carpet weaving in northwestern Iran since the Safavid dynasty, renowned for producing finely knotted rugs with intricate classical designs.

Authentic antique Persian carpets are traditionally crafted with a hand-spun wool pile on a cotton foundation, using natural vegetable dyes for coloration.

Authentication involves examining the knot density, hand-spun wool characteristics, natural dye variations, and characteristic medallion or all-over floral motifs specific to the region.

An antique carpet can anchor a contemporary living space by introducing texture, heritage patterns, and a grounded neutral or blue palette that complements minimalist furniture.

Preservation requires regular gentle vacuuming without a beater bar, professional organic washing when needed, and avoiding direct sunlight to prevent dye fading.
