Hand-knotted and flat-woven pieces attributed to Kurdish weavers of north-west Persia and neighbouring uplands, made for village and tent floors and for carrying and storing household goods.
The earliest Kurdish pieces on Sellingantiques are dated to the 1800s decade. There are four, including a blossom carpet fragment of 196 x 402cm.
