Superb walnut writing bureau complete with key. This bureau has a beautiful serpentine shaped front with 3 graduating drawers. The drawers are oak lined, run smooth and have brass handles with decorative pierced back plates. Its fall front with its crossbanding edge rests on slides with carved handles. Open the interior has oak pigeon holes, a single drawer with walnut front and a good sized leather writing surface. Raised on cabriole style legs with carved detail and shaped feet. Like all antiques there are some imperfections however these only add to its charm and character. This is a solid, useful piece of antique furniture with amazing gaining and gorgeous colouring that will look stunning in any home.
