A George III period mahogany writing cabinet. Double door bookcase top with oval, flame mahogany inset oval panels, cross-banded with satinwood and strung with boxwood.. the interior of the cabinet with an arrangement of drawers and adjustable shelf . Single drawer, with fitted writing surface. Square tapered legs with boxwood stringing C1790. Lovely original condition throughout. Elegant, useful, lovely original antique with a super patina, well cared for and ready for another 200 years of service.
