Antique Mahogany Bureau.

18th century
Description

Lovely used condition.

1750s Georgian country made bureau drawer bearers and runners have been repaired the drawers now run smoothly as when made. Bracket foot back right has been replaced in the past. Bureau has original working locks with key and still retains original polished surfaces. I have cleaned revived and waxed. Mahogany was scarce and expensive in 1750s this has softwood ends quite common on country made bureaus of this time.Well made and in excellent condition with original finish.
