Quality Antique Unusual Carved Oak Writing Desk Bureau,. This most unusual oak bureau has a low shaped gallery to the top with a lovely carved fall the fall opens to reveal a fitted interior of small drawers, letter compartments and two ink wells and pen tray this all comes forward when you open the fall this is a most unusual mechanism. Having leather witing surface and working lock and key. Under having single long drawer with two cupboard doors below having wonderful carved detail to the centre with carved wooden strap effect carving the interior has three drawers all the drawers are oak lined. Having wonderful carved apron under and all supported by four carved and scroll legs. The bureau has a solid oak panelled back.
