Description

A quality British antique! At first glance this looks like a nice quality but standard Edwardian bureau bookcase. It is actually a bespoke made miniature piece for a child or adolescent! If you look closely at the photographs you can compare the actual size to the standard sized chair & bottle. The top section has a moulded cornice over two astragal glazed doors which open to a shelved interior. The base section has a wonderful inlaid fall front which opens to a fitted interior. The base has three full length drawers with cross banded detail and swanneck handles which are all supported on bracket feet. A very beautiful and practical piece of furniture that would last a lifetime.
