A Lovely Undersized True Edwardian Bureau Bookcase Cabinet.

Description

A quality British child’s antique! Get them started early! A lovely undersized true Edwardian bureau bookcase cabinet. The top section has a broken arch pediment an astragal glazed door which opens to a shelved interior. The base section has a fall front with inlaid shell decoration, which opens to a fitted interior. Beneath the fall front there is a single drawer with cross banded detail and swanneck handles over two glazed cupboard doors. A very beautiful and practical piece of furniture, what a lovely gift this would make that could be handed down and is as useful today as the day it was made all those years ago!

Dimensions:- total height 201cm, working height 71cm, total width 75cm, working width 65cm, total depth 43cm and top part of cabinet depth 22cm
