A superb quality Edwardian Irish mahogany and marquetry inlaid tambour fronted cylinder desk by J Dooley & Sons of

Dublin.

The rectangular top section with pierced brass three-quarter gallery. Large tambour cover to the front and faux tambour to the reverse. The tambour opens to reveal seven satinwood drawers inlaid with flowerbells above a sliding red leather writing surface. Three deep (65cm) drawers below, one stamped J Dooley & Sons. All on square tapering legs with ceramic castors.

A superb desk, sensitively cleaned, polished and ready to be placed into the home.
