A marine watercolour by James Aitken (1853 - 1935). This watercolour depicting the sea with sailing vessels and waves breaking on the rocky shore; possibly the Isle of Man or Scotland. Signed lower right.

This painting has been professionally and sensitively cleaned, retaining the colours. It is presently unframed, however we can frame in a moulding of one’s choice if required for a modest sum.
