A rare and unusual oak dresser/sideboard with distinct designs of the Arts and Crafts movement, the central carved panels either side of the mirror are typical of a William Morris design. The canopied cornice has very strange caryatid figures giving support. Along with the plant pot feet and highly unusual parquetry top it would make us think that this piece was a one off commission, maybe for Liberty or wealthy individual. Splits into two for ease of transportation and the whole is in very good original condition.
