Description

Stunning bureau bookcase made of solid oak from the Edwardian era. The top section is fitted with two astragal glazed doors having 13 panes of bevelled glass in each which open to three fully adjustable shelves and retain original lock and key. A beautifully carved fall front opens to reveal a superb fitted interior with two drawers and compartments. This section also has two drawers and a double door shelved cupboard retaining original decorative handles and stands on attractively shaped bracket feet. With only minor marks / scuffs etc commensurate with age and use this is a very handsome piece of history in overall very good, sound condition ready for any home/ office.
