Antique Sanjabi Jaf Bag Face

Description

This is a most attractive and characterful Sanjabi Bag Face from North West Persia which dates from the late 19th Century. The bag face has a very colourful lattice design of hooked medallions and is framed by pretty stylised floral borders. It has it's original closing lappets in good condition. The bag face has a good even pile and complete selvedges with only some light wear to the edge. It is a good size, measuring 110 cms by 88 cms and is clean and ready to display.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
