A fine quality George III period mahogany bureau bookcase IN NEED OF RESTORATION.
This fine quality piece has excellent proportions and good colour. An opportunity to acquire a classical piece of 18th century English furniture at a fraction of the price of a restored example.
Main areas of restoration required are: four cracked panes of glass, handles have been changed, one interior drawer missing (lower centre), some shelves have been reduced in depth, numerous small veneer patches needed, marks, stains, bruises and minor cracks. Etc. etc. Clean and polish.
Usable as is if you like the well-used, shabby, antique look.
