Below this is a large sewing compartment which slides out and is lined with a patterned paper. The desk stands on turned tapering legs joined by stretchers and terminating in small ceramic castors.
It is a nice compact size, perfect as a side table or a small desk.
The desk is in very good condition. It is generally clean and tidy throughout and the writing surface is in good order. The drawers open well and the desk moves smoothly on its castors. There are normal signs of light wear and age, a few minor marks and light knocks but no major damages or anything detrimental. We do not have any keys.
