Circa 1780, Italian inlaid commode. The rectangular shaped top with breakfront section and unusual inlaid design, over a configuration of similarly inlaid drawers (1 short over 2 large). The gables with further inlay and with a pair of gilded, tapering columns leading to the raised block feet. With an Italian trade label to the back of ‘Magazzino D’Antichita – Oggett d’Arte e Curiosita – CARLO GUARDUCCI – Firenze – Via Maggio N.10’
