Top quality late 19th century French bronze sculpture entitled “le siffleur “(whistling boy ) modelled as a young boy whistling, standing with his hands in pockets . Nicely detailed to include even stitching to his pants . Signed in the cast by Vaclav Szczeblewski dated 1889 , with foundry stamp “ Bronze garantrau titre , LV déposée and stamped number 2505 .
Excellent condition throughout, some typical age related west to high points .
