Description

Circa 1730, George II oak bureau. The top with beaded moulded edges above a beaded cross-headed flap, opening to a stepped, fitted interior with pigeonholes, stepped drawers and a well. Over 2 short and 2 long drawers with cut brass handles (19th century replacements), working iron locks and original back to front oak liners. With a moulded base and standing on original shaped bracket feet.
