Description

A French inlaid secretaire à abattant made around 1790 Original grey, repaired marble top. Single frieze drawer above a fall front enclosing a fitted interior with original green baize writing surface. Two door cupboard with a three section interior. Chevron banded canted corners above square bracket feet. The exterior inlaid with a square geometric design to the front face and rectangular to the sides. King wood, tulipwood and walnut veneers throughout. A provincial French piece of very good quality which has retained its original polished surface and is in super original condition. One working key for the fall front.
