Description

A good quality Sheraton Revival mahogany and inlaid bon heur du jour. The superstructure having a brass gallery with boxwood stringing above a central recessed mirror which is flanked by 2 satinwood banded doors with flame mahogany Sheraton style ovals against the quarter veneered background. One door opens to stationary divisions, the other with a shelved interior. The writing surface retaining the original tooled leather with cross banded and boxwood strung edge. The 2 drawers having figured mahogany fronts with 2 lines of boxwood stringing and original brass pulls. The whole raised on square tapering with outline boxwood stringing and brass & porcelain casters. Condition - Original and very good. Dimensions:- Height…41.25''/ 105cm. Width…31''/ 79cm.
