A stunning and good quality late 18th century Dutch marquetry cylinder bureau of bombe form. The mahogany ground having superb floral inlaid decoration throughout. The cylinder opens as the writing slide is pulled forward and reveals a wonderful marquetry interior fitted with 7 various shaped drawers, pigeonholes and tooled leather writing surface. Below are 3 short over 2 long cock beaded and graduated drawers again with very good marquetry inlay and working locks with keys. The whole raised on splayed bracket feet and retaining the original Neo classical handles with oak linings throughout. Condition & colour very good. Dimensions:- Height…42’’/ 107cm.
