Quality Georgian Oak Antique Bureau

This Quality 18th Century Georgian Oak Antique Bureau / Writing Desk dates from circa, 1760 and has beautiful charm and character. This wonderful antique bureau has a moulded fall front with decorative brass key escutcheon and the interior comprises of ten pigeon holes and seven small oak drawers with brass handles. This early country oak antique desk has an unusual drawer configuration, with one long above two smaller over two longer graduating drawers with quality brass handles. It stands on shaped bracket feet and the Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
