18th Century walnut bureau, the top having a double moulded edge with the fall opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior, with various drawers, compartments and a well, the writing surface of fall having a lovely figured top, two short over town long graduated drawers with brass plate handles and escutcheons, standing on bracket feet. Circa 1770.
