A Rare 18thc Maltese Buro

Description

A rare maltese 18th century bureaux .The small cabriole legs under a neat shaped apron with two large serpentine drawers above with typical maltese decoration .The fall with maltese inlaid either side of a inlaid decoration with what I am sure is the maltese cross opening to reveal a fitted interior .The top with two maltese style inlays and each side inlaid accordingly .This bureaux is in unrestored condition with some knocks with a original back a truly superb piece of 18thc maltese furniture
