Description

A fine late Georgian mahogany fall-front bureau (c.1820) with four graduated cock-beaded drawers below a generous writing / work surface with five smaller drawers and seven pigeon holes to the interior, with working lock and key. With splayed feet to the front and pleasing curves to the front and side, it is both a handsome piece of furniture and practical for desk work. A standard laptop sits perfectly on it with plenty of space around for papers and stationery, with generous -sized drawers for storage. Sympathetically refurbished 25 years ago in a professional workroom to a high standard, it is presented in very good condition.
