The bookcase section having a swan neck pediment with boxwood stringing and an inlaid Sheraton motif. The dentil cornice above the satinwood banded frieze with a further Sheraton oval motif. The 2 astragal glazed doors with working lock and key open to a polished interior with 3 mahogany adjustable shelves. The bureau section having 2 short over 3 long graduated and mahogany lined drawers, all retaining their original brass handles, locks and escutcheons. The fall opens to reveal a well fitted interior consisting of 14 shaped pigeon holes and 4 satinwood drawers with turned pulls and ebony stringing, the fall retains the original tooled leather writing surface and the whole raised on off set bracket feet.
