A Deccani Bronze Ewer Mughal India, Circa 18th Century

A Nice example on straight foot, the drop-shaped body with floral scrolls within 2 shaped medallions on the front and back., the rest of the body is plain.
 
This tall and heavy Mughal brass ewer has a a tear-shaped tapering body; a squared mouth and lid; a curved handle; and a spout with a slight ‘S’ shape.
 
No metal was spared in its production this is heavy gauge.
 
It has a soft, golden colour
 
The condition is good for age but had a few repairs along the way.

The measurements are 12 1/2 inches . (32cm.) high 8 3/4 inches Wide.
