Description

Circa 1770, rare George III figured walnut bureau. The cleated flap with original escutcheon opens to an interior fitted with shaped writing surface, pigeonholes drawers and hidden compartments. The 4 long graduated drawers with original open fret shaped handles and escutcheons are over a moulded base and original shaped bracket feet.
