Antique Early Victorian Small Oak Geometric Bureau Desk with Secret Compartment C1850 Wdb130/14.2

Description

Possible free delivery please enquire about this antique early victorian small oak bureau and dating from aorund 1850.

It has geometric panel to the fall front with brass escutcheon which opens to reveal a very nice interior with an arched panel to the centre which is in fact a secret compartment and to either side there are arched shaped pigeon holes above three small drawers. To the flat surface there is a sliding panel which opens to reveal a secret well.

To the base there are two drawers with geometric panelled fronts both of which are pine lined with original brass handles and it stands on bracket feet.

Invery good conditon with a lovely nut brown colour and patination to the oak.

Measures: 37.5" high X knee height 25.5" X 17" deep X 29" wide
