Early George 3rd 33" Wide Mahogany Bureau

Description

Good mid 18th century, early George 3rd, solid mahogany bureau of small size, only 33" wide. The bureau is in very nice original condition, all the original shaped bracket feet and the original brass swan neck handles and gorgeous side carrying handles. The bureau has 4 long drawers which are cock beaded and oak lined with original brass handles and iron locks. The interior is plain and simple but practical, the small drawers with original "axe head" handles and oak linings. The original brass side carrying handles are especially nice. Although the bureau is small it is still pretty heavy which just emphasises its high quality.

The bureau is a lovely colour with original patination and waxed finish.
