A rare and exceptionally small Early 18th Century figured Walnut Bureau of good colour with wonderfully clean original Oak linings to the base and Walnut to the interior. Retaining the original feet, locks, escutcheons and Knobs to the interior. The handles are replaced fitted through the same holes as the originals. The interior features some very nice secret drawers that are hidden in the front compartment underneath the sliding well. The nice Georgian key works the lock to the fall and drawers also. The Bureau being just under 27'' wide makes it one of the smallest we''ve ever seen, this along with the quality of the veneers and construction make this bureau special.
