E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The square glazed pair of doors opening to three adjustable shelves. The base having half round moulded edge over reeded frieze. Two deep oak lined drawers below the fall front secretaire drawer having two drawer dummy front. All with the original cast brass swanneck handles. The interior of secretaire having satinwood drawers with tulipwood crossbanded edges around four pigeon holes with shaped satinwood tops. The top drawers are deep having dummy two drawer fronts also having locks. Leather lined writing surface. All on O.G. feet with half round moulding above.
