1900. It has a moulded cornice above blind fret work carving and two astragal glazed doors with key and working lock. The interior has two adjustable shelves. Below is an unusual slatted cylinder front and the interior has three small drawers, several pigeon holes, a sliding bible well with a velvet lined writing surface. The lower section of this fine antique bookcase has a blind fretwork front above two beautifully figured moulded doors with key and working lock and the interior has one shelf. It stands on quality carved lion paw feet, splits into two sections for removal and has aged to a warm medium Walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
