This is a rare breathtaking decorative piece of furniture, that is full of age, charm and character. Fantastic marquetry veneers.
No loose joints and the oak lined drawer slide freely. We have a key for the fall front (continental style, clockwise to open and a double lock).
6 functioning drawers inside the secretaire (the bottom 3 are dummies).

No woodworm. This piece has had some historic alteration, in particular the lower cupboard may have originally been drawers. Later catch to cupboard doors. Some shrinkage cracking to the piece, but nothing progressive or significantly weakening. Some minor veneer loss, but nothing bad.
