Small Antique Georgian Oak Bureau Desk C1780 Wdb180/3.12

This is a lovely antique george 111 oak bureau of an unusually smaller size and dating from aorund 1780. It has a brass escutcheon to the fall front which opens to reveal a nice interior of six pigeon holes above two rows of two long and four short drawers all with original small brass knob handles. To the base there are four graduating long drawers all of which are pine lined and later pierced brass handles and pierced key escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.

It is in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the oak.

Measures: 40" high X 30" knee height X 17.5" deep X 32" wide
