Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The bureau with 4 long drawers which are cock beaded, oak lined and have their original brass swan neck handles. The bureau stands on its original bracket feet. The brass ring handles on the lopers are also original.

The top section with nice design glazing to the two doors with all the original glass. The top section has oak shevles inside with a moulded front edge which are fully adjustable. The top has a very nice "pear drop" style cornice.

The piece is a nice mellow colour and is in good condition. There are a few minor old repairs but nothing serious.
SIZES; 35 1/2" wide by 20" deep by 7 foot high overall. The bookcase part is 9 1/4" deep.
