Description

A very rare China Trade three-part padouk secretaire cabinet:brass stringing and camphor linings; origianl silk embroidered flowers (rebacked)

Size: 34” x 17.5” x 70” high

(86cm x 44cm x 1.78m)

This is an exceptional example; rare in 3 sections; particularly attractive with the silk panels.

The colour is untouched with a good original surface. 2 internal drawers marked in Chinese characters left and right. Original English bramah locks. Probably made for the English / American market.
