Description

A late 18th / early 19th century Dutch mahogany bureau of bombe form and raised on front claw and ball feet. This 2 piece bureau has 3 external oak lined drawers with ornate pierced brass handles and escutcheons to the lower section. The upper section having 2 small drawers which support the fall when opened and a well fitted serpentine shaped interior having a central cupboard with an additional drawer behind and 6 shaped drawers, various pigeon holes, 2 marquetry tall drawers and a slide hidden well. With working locks and keys. Condition - Good with a couple of old repairs to the sides which can be seen in the photos. Dimensions:- Height…42’’/ 107cm. Width…43.5’’/ 110cm. Depth…23’’/ 59cm.
