Description

Lovely William and Mary style drop front bureau, but of a neat / small proportion, circa 1860

As a stand alone decor piece, this works very well and has such nice proportions, but can of course, be used as intended, with the fall front opening to reveal four drawers, a small cupboard door section and pigeon holes. Below, there are two full width drawers, oak lined. There is a leather writing surface.

There is a band of inlay running throughout the bureau and the walnut has a good colour and depth to it.

Turned legs with a decorative stretcher and bun feet
