Description

A good solid oak writing bureau from the Edwardian period complete with a nicely fitted interior and a dark green tooled leather writing surface. Externally the bureau sits on bun feet, below three drawer, all with geometric mouldings typical of the Jacobean period(mid 17th century). Above the writing compartment is a wonderful carved top rail, that is a really unusual feature. Overall the condition is very good and the piece is ready to display and use.
