Description

An early 18th Century oak 4 drawer bureau having 2 short over 2 long drawers with solid brass handles and escutcheons. The fall with working lock and key, opens to reveal a well with slide and a stepped interior consisting of 9 pigeon holes and 5 small drawers, the 2 outside drawers when removed reveal 2 pull out secret compartments (see photo 4). The whole stands on the original offset shaped bracket feet and has oak linings throughout and is in very good useable condition.

Circa 1710. Sizes - Height .. 39'' / 99cm. Width .. 36'' / 91.5cm. Depth .. 20.5'' / 52cm. Delivery to most of U.K. Mainland £75.
