Georgian early 19th Century mahogany bureau desk writing table.

This is a lovely bureau, that is full of age, charm and character. Fantastic crossbanded maple interior...this is a high spec bureau.

No loose joints and the drawers slide freely (some marks and remnants of old paper linings inside as is to be expected).

Good shape and fantastic large proportions.

Overall maximum dimensions: 124cm wide, 55cm deep, 110cm high (83cm high writing surface).

There are some historic extinct woodworm holes, that we have treated for good measure. No keys and the locks are untested. Historic repairs to feet, which are strong now. centre third hinge to the fall front is missing (although this is unlikely to have been an original feature). There is a little historic distortion to the fall front, which is within the realms of normal and adds to period charm.
