Description

In burl walnut and with tulip wood banding and boxwood stringing. Raised on cabroile legs with ormolu mounts and with a cylinder fall which rolls back to reveal the interior of pigeon holes, drawers and writing surface which slides forward. Above this is a bank of mahogany lined drawers and a shelf with a brass gallery. In very good and original condition. 1220mm high, 880mm wide and 570mm wide. English. Circa 1860
