Description

A superb quality regency mahogany secretaire chiffoniere sideboard type cupboard with fabulous design elements and a wonderful rich colour. The secretaire writing desk fall front with an elegant interior, beneath which are two cabinet doors inlaid with ebony line inlay which is repeated in the drawer above. The whole is raised on original turned legs typical of the Georgian period and both George Oakleys and Bullocks work. The piece is further enhanced by rope twist and reel detailing to the top and base. This is a piece that would grace any home. Circa 1815. Measures 35”w x 18”d x 45”h
