Description

Very good quality mid 19th century mahogany secretaire bookcase

English dating to around the 1860's the glazed top half has 3 fully adjustable shelves , the cupboard base section has a single shelf , working locks and keys for both cupboards

The large pull out drawers reveals a green leather writing surface and numerous smaller drawers and pigeon holes veneered with birds eye maple and original ebonised turned handles

This piece has a wonderful colour and patina which has been enhanced after going through our workshops and been cleaned and wax polished
