A Rare Anglo Chinese Export Hua Li Bureau C 1780

Description

A rare Anglo Chinese Export Hua Li or indigenous rosewood Bureau c 1780 made in Canton for the English market retaining its original lacquered brass rococo brass ware and side carrying handles. The great weight of this piece is due to all the drawer lings being constructed from the same dense rosewood which is much darker from lack of exposure from the sunlight.
