This is a super quality, English antique oak bureau bookcase by Heals with interesting provenance. Dating from around 1900-10, the top glazed bookcase section has two adjustable book shelves inside. The oak base has four drawers. one having the Heals of London makers button inset. The oak fall open to show a lovely quality, fitted interior, all in great, clean condition. A very nice piece of Heals antique oak furniture, perfect for a home office, study or library.
