Elegant Edwardian Walnut Antique Bureau with Brass Inlay

Dating from around 1900 in The Edwardian Era, This Elegant Walnut Antique Bureau has been constructed from beautifully figured walnut with spectacular brass inlays and ormolu mounts. This fine bureau has a decorative brass gallery and the interior comprises of a faux leather writing insert, sliding bible well and two small drawers with fine turned handles. This stylish bureau stands on four cabriole legs and the walnut has aged to a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
