Fine Queen Anne Figured Walnut & Feather Banded Bureau of Superb Small Proportions

Being only 29 inches wide this Rare Queen Anne Figured Walnut & Feather Banded Antique Bureau is of Superb Small Proportions and aged to a lovely Golden colour. It has the most striking figuring and amazing feather banded edges along with decorative Brassware making it very desirable indeed. The fall front has a key with working lock and the interior comes with a leather writing surface, bible well, several small curved oak lined drawers and several pigeon holes. The internal central section is removable and behind is two secret drawers. The bureau has two over two oak lined drawers with brass pear drop handles and it stands on lovely turned bobbin feet. The sides are beautifully figured again with feather cross banding and the whole piece is stunning. Having been carefully restored in the past, it is in extremely good condition with the most amazing golden shade of walnut with a striking grain, good patina and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
