Georgian C1780 inlaid mahogany bureau desk or writing table.

This is a lovely bureau, that is full of age, charm and character.

No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely (some marks and remnants of old paper linings inside as is to be expected).

Good shape and fantastic proportions.

A great colour.

Full of age, charm and character.

Overall maximum dimensions: 105cm wide, 59cm deep, 109cm high (80cm high writing surface).

There are some historic extinct woodworm holes, that we have treated for good measure. Later handles. No keys and the locks are untested. Historic repairs to feet, which are strong now.
